Re-imagining Referencing on RMIT’s Library Website
Looking to redesign their user experience for referencing on the RMIT Library. This project was conducted in three parts:
Initial research
The first step was to conduct autoethnographic research, this was done through user interviews. This story board and user experience map presented the findings of the research and the current user state.

Concept Generation & Presentation
Next was to present 3 concepts that aimed to create a better referencing experience for users. This presentation highlighted the risk and benefits of three different proposed concepts aiming to improve the referencing experience for students.

Refining concepts and presenting the final design
Lastly was refining the concept that was chosen by the RMIT Library, this involved creating high fidelity prototypes to present to the client. This presentation all demonstrated the future state of the website and the improvements that new UX would have to the user.
